The new French government

On Wednesday, May 16, 2012, the president of the French Republic, Francois Hollande, has appointed members of the new Government on the proposal of the Prime Minister, Jean-Marc Ayrault.

The composition of the Government was announced by Pierre-René Lemas, Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic.
